Port of Toyo

Port of Toyo, located in the east part of Ehime Prefecture and at the center of Toyo New Industrial City Zone, retains an important position as the core of industrial activities in Ehime Prefecture since it was designated as a new industrial city in 1964.
Mainly with the import/export of raw materials and products for the plants located in the coastal areas, and with the carry-in/carry-out of goods by ferry boats connecting Ehime Prefecture and Hanshin Area, the Port of Toyo plays an important role as a port at site supporting the industrial activities and local physical distribution.
