Port of Kamikawaguchi

Port of Kamikawaguchi, located in the south-western part of Tosa Bay approx 100 km south-west to Kochi City, is a historical port contributing to the development of economy and society of Hatada Region from early days, as a good natural port surrounded by Ino Cape in the east and Ashizuri Cape in the south. The port was designated as an Port of Refuge in 1951.
Project was completed in 2005, and the port now plays the roles as an Port of Refuge for cargo ships passing off the coast of Tosa and as a base port for the rich fishing place spreading in its front. (Port Administrator: Kochi Prefecture)
